Dia-Frag was born on February 15, 1984, in the city of Monte Alto, in the interior of São Paulo, working in the development, manufacture and marketing of aluminum and rubber artifacts.
Through its large industrial park and with the most modern production processes, Dia-Frag has become one of the main suppliers of the motorcycle parts market, also operating in the segments of auto parts, railway, agricultural machinery, among others.
In 2003, with the achievement of ISO 9001 Certification, the company also started to supply the lines of the main motorcycle manufacturers installed in Brazil. Today the Day-Frag is considered by the same one of its preferential partners.
In August 2014 Dia-Frag was incorporated by the Wabtec Corporation group (Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies CO.). This group is based in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Wabtec currently has more than 190 factories around the world, more than 27,000 employees and has its products marketed in more than 100 countries.
A group that provides worldwide high-engineering components and complex systems for the cargo and people transportation market. In 2017 we also started supplying aluminum technical parts for automotive assemblers (engine parts).
While many national manufacturers are deactivating their production lines and only acting as importers, due to the ease of import and the low cost of parts in countries such as China and India, Dia-Frag invests in its industrial park and enlarges every year its productive capacity, betting on the strength of the national industry.
